Постраничный PDF из InDesign
Экспорт документа Indd в PDF не представляет ни каких сложностей. Можно экспортировать все в один многостраничный PDF, а можно сохранить только выбранные страницы. А как быть если у вас в документе несколько сотен страниц и типография требует постраничный PDF.
Можно конечно сохранять каждую страницу по отдельности. Если страниц немного, то можно воспользоваться этим способом, но если страниц несколько десятков или сотни, то это довольно проблематично. Во-первых при экспорте надо указывать номер страницы, во-вторых в имени страницы надо указывать тот же номер (обычно типография требует, что бы в имени файла содержался номер страницы). Короче говоря, получается много-много ручной работы, а следовательно большая вероятность ошибки.
Другой вариант. Можно сделать многостраничный PDF, а потом в Acrobat Pro разобрать его на страницы. Но тут тоже есть нюанс, чтобы реальный номер страницы совпадал номером, содержащимся в имени файла, нужно чтобы вся публикация была в одном файле INDD и начиналась с первой страницы. Именно с первой потому, что при экспорте из акробата первая страница запишется с номером 1 не смотря на то, что начинаться публикация может с другой страницы. Например страницы 1 и 2 это обложка и они в отдельном файле, соответственно публикация в INDD начинается со страницы №3. Еще может быть так — страниц много и поэтому файл разбит на блоки страниц по 50-100. В общем этот способ тоже не исключает много ручной работы и проверок.
Собственно обычно я пользовался первым способом и чем дольше, тем больше он мне не нравился. При поиске решения оказалось, что тема эта достаточно популярная и существует множество сценариев для экспорта постраничного PDF. Перепробовав несколько штук, остановился на этом «Quick Export to Adobe PDF (Дмитрий Лапаев)»
- Выбор заранее определенных стилей экспорта PDF
- Можно экспортировать постранично (один файл — одна страница). Если включить «экспорт разворотами», то страница в PDF будет содержать разворот из INDD.
- Формат названия PDF. В первом случае — номер страницы + название документа INDD, во втором случае — номер страницы + новое имя файла.
- Диапазон страниц для экспорта — можно «все», можно выбрать диапазон «3-15», можно выбрать определенные страницы «3,10,12,15,75», можно так «3-15,17,25».
- Если в публикации несколько секций, то можно экспортировать секциями.
- Если включить, то после экспорта файла он сразу будет открываться в Акробате. Лучше эту галочку не ставить, так как если страниц очень много, то каждая из них откроется параллельно с экспортом последующих страниц (сильно тормозит работу системы).
В общем рекомендую последний способ для постраничного экспорта в PDF из InDesign. И огромное спасибо Дмитрию Лаптеву.

About Adobe PDF
Portable Document Format (PDF) is a universal file format that preserves the fonts, images, and layout of source documents created on a wide range of applications and platforms. Adobe PDF is the standard for the secure, reliable distribution and exchange of electronic documents and forms around the world. Adobe PDF files are compact and complete, and can be shared, viewed, and printed by anyone with free Adobe Reader® software.
Adobe PDF is highly effective in print publishing workflows. By saving a composite of your artwork in Adobe PDF, you create a compact, reliable file that you or your service provider can view, edit, organize, and proof. Then, at the appropriate time in the workflow, your service provider can either output the Adobe PDF file directly, or process it using tools from various sources for such post-processing tasks as preflight checks, trapping, imposition, and color separation.
When you save in Adobe PDF, you can choose to create a PDF/X-compliant file. PDF/X (Portable Document Format Exchange) is a subset of Adobe PDF that eliminates many of the color, font, and trapping variables that lead to printing problems. PDF/X may be used wherever PDFs are exchanged as digital masters for print production—whether at the creation or output stage of the workflow, as long as the applications and output devices support PDF/X.
Adobe PDFs can solve the following problems associated with electronic documents:

Recipients can’t open files because they don’t have the applications used to create the files.
Anyone, anywhere can open a PDF. All you need is the free Adobe Reader software.
Combined paper and electronic archives are difficult to search, take up space, and require the application in which a document was created.
PDFs are compact and fully searchable, and can be accessed at any time using Reader. Links make PDFs easy to navigate.
Documents appear incorrectly on handheld devices.
Tagged PDFs allow text to reflow for display on Mobile Platforms such as Palm OS®, Symbian™, and Pocket PC® devices.
Documents with complex formatting are not accessible to visually impaired readers.
Tagged PDFs contain information on content and structure, which makes them accessible onscreen readers.
Export to PDF for printing
Exporting a document or book to Adobe PDF is as simple as using the default High Quality Print settings, or as customized as you need it to be to suit your task. The PDF export settings you specify are saved with the application, and applies to every new InDesign document or book you export to PDF until you change them again. To quickly apply custom settings to PDF files, you can use presets.
You can export a document, a book, or selected documents in a book as a single PDF file. You can also copy content from your InDesign layout to the Clipboard, and automatically create an Adobe PDF file of that content. (This is useful for pasting a PDF file into another application, such as Adobe Illustrator.)
When you export an InDesign file to PDF, you can preserve navigation elements such as table of contents and index entries, and interactivity features such as hyperlinks, bookmarks, media clips, and buttons. You also have the option of exporting hidden layers, nonprinting layers, and nonprinting objects to PDF. If you’re exporting a book, you can merge identically named layers by using the Book panel.

Export an open document to PDF for printing
Choose File > Export .
Specify a name and location for the file.
Select Use InDesign Document Name As The Output Filename , if you want the exported PDF to have the same name as the name of the document from the next export.
For Save As Type (Windows) or Format (Mac OS), choose Adobe PDF (Print), and then click Save .
When you select the Adobe PDF (Print) option, you cannot include interactive elements in the PDF. To export an interactive document to PDF, see Dynamic PDF documents.
Do one of the following:
- To use a predefined set of job options, choose a preset from the Adobe PDF Preset menu.
- To create a PDF/X file, either choose a PDF/X preset from the Adobe PDF Preset menu, or choose a predefined PDF/X format from the Standard menu.
- To customize options, select a category from the list on the left and then set the options.
For Compatibility, choose the lowest PDF version necessary to open the files you create.
Specify the following Accessibility Options under the Advanced tab, if necessary:
Display Title
Choose what to display in the title bar of Acrobat when it opens your PDF. Available options are Document Title and File Name.
Choose the document language for the PDF. This determines the default language for the exported PDF. If the required language is not in the list, you can also type the standard language ISO code.
Click Export (Windows) or Save (Mac OS).
To reset options to the default, in the Export Adobe PDF dialog box, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click Reset. (The Cancel button changes to Reset.)

Prepare layers before exporting a book to PDF
When you export a book to PDF, you can show and hide InDesign layers in the PDF document. To avoid duplication of layer names in the PDF, you can merge the layers on export.
If the Merge Identically Named Layers On Export option is selected, layer names appear under the same book name in Acrobat or Reader. If this option is not selected, layer names appear separately under each document name.
How to export PDFs and JPGs in Adobe InDesign
If you’re new around here, I have been creating a series of short tutorials to help with some of my frequently asked questions on using Adobe InDesign.
This week, you’ll learn how to export two kinds of PDF files (Interactive and Print) and a JPG file in InDesign.

I’m going to use my InDesign Cliff Notes guide as an example first to show you the two types of PDFs you can export from InDesign.
Go to File > Export, then at the bottom of the screen you can select a file type. I’ll choose PDF Interactive to start. This is best for a PDF that you’re NOT going to print – like one you would email or share as a download on your website or blog. I’ll change my file name to label this one as the interactive option, so we can compare it with the print option in a second.
Click Save, and you’ll get an Export window like this with additional options for your final file.
The most common things you might change here would be the page range (if you want to export just a few pages and not the entire document).
And you can adjust the quality of any images in your file by clicking Compression and adjusting the JPG Quality.
Most everything else can stay as the default for most projects. Click Export and your file will be saved.
Now let’s export a PDF for print – Go to File > Export, then at the bottom of the screen select PDF Print.
I’ll label this one as “print” and click Save to take me to the Export window.
This export window has a few more options than the Interactive PDF export window, but again, most of this can stay as the default for most projects. I’ll use the High Quality Print pre-set at the top of the window, and make sure my page range is All. Then I’ll click Export to save it.
Now let’s check out the file size of these two PDFs and see how they compare. The Interactive PDF (best just for on-screen use) is only about 500 KB (or half a MB), a great size for emailing or downloading online. While the print PDF is about double that size (1 full MB), because it’s higher quality for the printer to print it clearly without any pixelation or fuzziness.
Ok, lastly, what if you just want to export a JPG for a social media graphic or something like that? We’ll use this file of Instagram designs as an example. Go to File > Export, and this time select JPG in the bottom of the window. Click Save, and then it will open the JPG Export window where you can change the page range and the image quality. The rest of the options, I usually leave as the default for most projects.
Keep in mind here – if you select All for the page range, it will export each page in your file as a separate JPG file. This can be a huge time saver for exporting a ton of JPGs with just one click. But if you’re only wanting to export certain pages as JPGs, you can type that into the Range field before exporting.
Then, if we go back to my desktop where I saved all these, you’ll see each JPG saved as a separate file, each one numbered so I can keep them all straight and in order.

Параметры вывода
В разделе « Вывод » диалогового окна « Экспорт Adobe PDF » вы можете просмотреть параметры в области « Цвет» .
Если вы собираетесь просматривать PDF-файл на экране, лучше оставить значения по умолчанию и убедиться, что в политике включения профилей выбран параметр « Включить профили с тегами источника» . Это гарантирует, что все изображения являются частью этого PDF. Это относится только к цветам RGB.
Если вы печатаете, вам нужно изменить параметр « Преобразование цвета» на « Преобразовать в пункт назначения» и выбрать один из различных типов пунктов назначения, которые относятся к типу печатной бумаги, в раскрывающемся меню « Пункт назначения» .
Параметры безопасности
PDF, являющийся одним из наиболее часто используемых форматов обмена документами, может быть уязвим, если вы передаете конфиденциальные данные. Всегда желательно защитить паролем файл PDF, чтобы обеспечить конфиденциальность информации.

Вы также можете использовать пароли для условных ограничений. Вы можете выбрать, что пользователь может или не может делать, когда открывает документ. Например, вы можете запретить печать документа в низком или высоком разрешении или даже вообще не печатать.
