Kia EV6 (Киа Ев6)

Корейская компания и раньше выпускала полностью электрические модели, но EV6 — это первый автомобиль марки на специальной модульной аккумуляторной платформе Hyundai-Kia E-GMP. Ранее вышел построенный на той же базе Hyundai Ioniq 5 — он бьет рекорды продаж на родном для него корейском рынке. Кузов у EV6 пятидверный, а внешний стиль — обособленный от остальной линейки Kia. Экстерьер — с нарочитым уклоном в спорт. Кузов оптимизирован с точки зрения обтекаемости.

Привлекают внимание графически отделенная от кузова крыша, короткий капот, низко установленные фары, дверные ручки выдвижного типа. Вся светотехника — на LED-элементах. Производитель предлагает четыре модификации разной мощности: как с одним электромотором (задний привод), так и с двумя (полный привод).

Внутри Kia EV6 установлена полностью цифровая информационная панель изогнутой формы, состоящая из двух 12-дюймовых экранов. Двухспицевое рулевое колесо позаимствовано у автомобилей Genesis (такое же, в частности, на кроссовере GV80). Управление климатической установкой осуществляется с помощью кнопок сенсорного экрана с тактильной обратной связью. Kia отмечает, что сиденья EV6 изготовлены из переработанного пластика, при этом они имеют тонкую и легкую конструкцию, весь необходимый набор регулировок, подогрев и вентиляцию в топовом варианте. Помимо прочего, в зависимости от комплектации предусмотрены: подогрев задних сидений и рулевого колеса, дверь багажника с электроприводом, панорамный люк в крыше, мощная аудиосистема, проекционный дисплей и прочее.

На момент старта продаж Kia EV6 был доступен в базовом варианте с задним электродвигателем мощностью 125 кВт (170 л.с.) или 168 кВт (229 л.с.) и крутящим моментом 350 Нм. Стандартная модель оборудована аккумулятором на 58 кВтч, а версия Long Range получает батарею увеличенной до 77,4 кВтч емкости. Версия 4WD имеет по электромотору спереди и сзади с максимальной производительностью 239 кВт (325 л.с.) и 605 Нм. Дальность хода (согласно WLTP) в зависимости от модификации составляет: у заднеприводной версии 394 км (Standard) или 528 км (Long Range), у полноприводной — 506 км. В 2022 году появляется новый спортивный флагманский вариант 4WD GT, который обладает общей мощностью в 430 кВт (585 л.с.) и крутящим моментом 740 Нм и питается от аккумуляторной батареи большой емкости. Автономность этой версии — 424 км. Kia EV6 GT способен разогнаться до «сотни» всего за 3,5 секунды, тогда как остальные версии делают этот же забег за 5,2-8,5 сек. Максимальная скорость EV6 GT — 260 км/ч. У младших моделей — 185 км/ч.

Kia EV6 использует независимую подвеску со стойками МакФерсон спереди и многорычажкой сзади, на обеих осях установлены стабилизаторы поперечной устойчивости. Невысокий дорожный просвет приближает автомобиль скорее к спортивным универсалам или хэтчбекам, нежели к кроссоверам. Вместе с тем, у EV6 довольно растянутая колесная база — 2900 мм. По длине кузова автомобиль немного превосходит соплатформенный Ioniq 5 — 4680 мм (у Ioniq 5 длина 4635 мм), хотя колесная база у ближайшего «родственника» больше — 3000 мм. Багажник в Kia EV6 почти такой же по объему — 520 л (по методике VDA), что всего на 7 литров меньше, чем в Ioniq 5 при стандартном положении сидений, но со сложенными максимальное грузовое пространство немного уступает и составляет около 1300 литров против 1580. Как и во многих электрокарах, в Kia EV6 есть передний багажник — на 20 литров у полноприводных моделей и на 52 литра у заднеприводных.

Список оборудования, отвечающего за безопасность, включает привычные системы контроля движения вроде ABS с распределителем тормозных сил EBD, усилитель экстренного торможения BAS, системы контроля тяги TCS и стабилизации ESP. Также в Kia EV6 установлен комплект надувных подушек по периметру салона. Предлагается расширенный набор систем помощи водителю, в который входят система удержания в полосе движения, интеллектуальная помощь при парковке с камерами кругового обзора, система автономного экстренного торможения (в том числе при движении назад), контроль за вниманием и прочее.

Первый электромобиль Kia новой волны полностью рассекречен. Мы уже рассказывали о его дизайне, а теперь в компании раскрыли подробную информацию. Kia EV6 — это кросс-хэтчбек на электрической модульной платформе E-GMP, то есть технически это ближайший родственник недавно представленного паркетника Hyundai Ioniq 5. Но у «шестерки» совсем другой форм-фактор и пропорции.

Kia EV6 немного крупнее универсала Ceed SW: длина — 4680 мм (плюс 80 мм), ширина — 1880 мм (плюс те же 80 мм), а высота — 1550 мм (плюс 75 мм). Однако разница в колесной базе куда внушительнее: 2900 мм у «электрички» против 2650 мм у Сида. Благодаря этому EV6 имеет куда более просторный салон, а на втором ряду еще и ровный пол.

Обратная сторона медали — багажник: его объем под шторкой только 520 литров против 625 литров у модели Ceed SW. Со сложенным задним рядом отсек вмещает около 1300 литров. Кроме того, спереди оборудован еще один небольшой багажник: он вмещает 52 литра у заднеприводной версии и 20 литров у полноприводной. Есть бытовая розетка, к которой можно подключать внешние потребители мощностью до 3,6 кВт или даже подзарядить другой электромобиль.

Электромобиль имеет два экрана по 12,3 дюйма (для приборов и медиасистемы) и проекционный экран с функцией «дополненной реальности», которая накладывает подсказки навигатора прямо на дорогу. Под центральными дефлекторами вентиляции — блок «горячих» сенсорных клавиш для управления микроклиматом, «музыкой» и навигатором, хотя к ним добавлены и две вращающиеся рукоятки.

Сохранились у EV6 и классические аппаратные клавиши — на руле, в блоке слева от него, а также на центральном тоннеле, который отделен от передней панели. Обивка по последней моде выполнена с применением вторсырья — например, использованных пластиковых бутылок.

На выбор предложены пять модификаций. Базовая Standard Range имеет тяговую батарею на 58 кВт∙ч и задний электромотор с отдачей 170 л.с. и 350 Нм. У полноприводного варианта два двигателя выдают суммарно 235 л.с. и 605 Нм. Пробег на одной зарядке — 400 и 380 км соответственно. Паркетник в версии Long Range оснащен аккумулятором емкостью 77,4 кВт∙ч, отдача с задним приводом — 228 л.с. и 350 Нм, а с полным приводом — 325 л.с. и 605 Нм. Дальность хода — 510 и 490 км.

Все перечисленные версии можно заказать в исполнении GT Line (красный автомобиль на фото), которое имеет более агрессивный обвес, перенастроенное шасси и другой рулевой механизм. Kia EV6 предлагает три уровня рекуперации на выбор, а также самый эффективный режим i-Pedal для управления скоростью одной лишь педалью акселератора.

На вершине гаммы находится «горячая» версия Kia EV6 GT. Передний электромотор выдает 218 л.с., задний — 367 л.с., пиковая отдача составляет 585 л.с. и 740 Нм. Таких показателей у моделей Kia мы еще не видели! Добавлена электронная имитация блокировки заднего дифференциала, а на руле появилась контрастная кнопка активации спортрежима. Время разгона до «сотни» — 3,5 с, максимальная скорость ограничена на отметке 260 км/ч. Аккумулятора емкостью 77,4 кВт∙ч должно хватить на 400 км пробега. Кстати, масса машин — от 1,8 до 2,0 тонны.

Архитектура E-GMP предусматривает возможность зарядки от самых «быстрых» терминалов — с напряжением 800 вольт и мощностью 350 кВт. В этом случае батарея сможет принять заряд для броска на 100 км всего за пять минут, а перезарядка на 80% займет 18 минут. Впрочем, предусмотрена возможность подключения к 400-вольтовым терминалам и бытовым розеткам. Наконец, в арсенале есть автопилот полноценного второго уровня, то есть продвинутый круиз-контроль с функциями удержания в полосе и распознавания дорожных знаков, плюс автопарковщик с дистанционным управлением.

Электромобили Kia EV6 будут выпускать только в Южной Корее: там уже открыт прием заказов, а продажи начнутся в июле. До Европы «шестерка» доберется осенью. Позже будут раскрыты подробные экспортные планы, которые должны оказаться очень серьезными. Ведь на электромобили у концерна Hyundai-Kia большая ставка. Одна только компания Kia обещает до 2026 года представить одиннадцать новых «электричек», семь из которых будут созданы на платформе E-GMP (с индексами в диапазоне от EV1 до EV9), а оставшиеся четыре — на существующих универсальных «тележках».

Kia India launched the EV6 in the country on 2 May 2022.

Engine and Specification

The Kia EV6 is powered by a 77.4kWh battery pack. The RWD version generates 223bhp and 350Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to sprint from zero to 100kmph in 7.3 seconds. The AWD version produces 320.5bhp and 605Nm of torque. This top-spec version is capable of sprinting from zero to 100kmph in just 5.2 seconds. Both the variants get an automatic transmission. The EV6 offers three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, to suit individual driving needs.

Exterior

The EV6 measures 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,550mm in height, while the wheelbase is rated at 2,900mm. The vehicle is available in five colour options, including Moonscape, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red, Aurora Black Pearl, and Yacht Blue. The EV6 gets sleek LED headlamps with DRLs flanked by two strong lines on the bonnet that taper down to the grille.

The side profile is highlighted by a coupe-like roofline, flush-fitting door handles, and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. To complement the overall aggressive styling element, the Kia EV6 gets wrap-around LED tail lights with an LED light bar running the length of the boot lid.

Interior

As for the interior, the vehicle gets premium upholstery, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a large 12.3-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system. For convenience, the EV6 offers ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, wireless charger, rotary dial with shift-by-wire technology, electric sunroof, electric parking brake with auto-hold function, and more.

We get behind the wheel of Kia’s first EV at India’s first F1 circuit

Summary

With EVs being the current flavour, almost every manufacturer is trying to showcase their technological prowess in this area. Kia has decided to get in on the action now with their best seller CUV internationally, the EV6. The EV6 is Kia’s flagship EV offering that they plan to get in India via the CBU route and for the moment they plan to get in just 100 units. But does the Kia EV6 have what it takes to be a halo product and sell all the said 100 units? We drove the car around the Buddh International Circuit to get a feel.

Engine and performance

The heart of the EV6, like in most other EVs, is a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The EV6 will come in two configurations, rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive with us driving only the latter. The AWD variant gets two motors with a combined output of 320.5bhp and a massive 605Nm of torque and those big numbers are transferred to all four wheels via an automatic transmission.

On the Formula One track, the EV6 felt at home right from the word go. One can shift the driving modes via the button on the steering wheel and we immediately went into Sport mode. Even the braking has two modes to choose from, Sport and Normal and it’s obvious what we selected. We got just three laps to experience the car so it was just a brief experience. Now we expected the car to be quick, but the EV6 showed us properly what pinning the driver into the seat experience feels like. The EV6 accelerates hard and we managed to do a 0-192kmph run on the longest straight and boy the EV6 can move. Kia claims a 0-100kmph time of 5.2 seconds and we don’t doubt it at all.

Performance is immediate and relentless at all speeds except if you want to accelerate from 192kmph which is the EV6’s top speed. The braking is just as impressive and slowing down from top speed just before a corner is no problem at all. The brakes bite hard and inspire plenty of confidence.

And then we come to the handling; the EV6 had another surprise for us in this department. Based on the E-GMP platform, the chassis is as stiff as it can get. Suspension duties are handled by McPherson struts at the front and a multi-link rear so nothing exotic, but it’s the set-up that counts. The EV6 is set-up beautifully and while we cannot talk about ride quality, the handling is definitely something we can vouch for. There is plenty of mechanical grip and what further helps is how neutral the handling feels. There is a hint of body roll as you put it into the corner but it’s almost negligible. The EV6 grips hard and then as you put down all the 320 plus horses exiting the corner, the tail steps out even with all the electronics switched on. That just tells you that Kia has made sure that the EV6 gets playful handling should the driver be up for some. The steering too, is excellent and talks back, giving vital information. It’s got the right amount of heft and feel that syncs well with the suspension set-up. So what you have here is a family car that will be just as happy going to the mall as it will be hitting a racetrack.

And now we come to the range, even with a temperature of 45+ degrees at the track and going flat out, the car still managed to show a range of over 300km. Kia says the EV6 is capable of 528km on a full charge but that’s under the international WLTP cycle and Kia thinks it will be more or less the same once the ARAI figures come out. But even if the EV6 manages anything between 400 and 450km, it will be an excellent figure. Charging the EV6 is just as quick as its acceleration. With a 350kW charger, the EV6’s 77.4 KWh lithium-ion battery can reach 80 per cent of its charge in just 18 minutes, while a 50kW charger will take about 73 minutes. Kia will be installing fast chargers at its dealerships and they will give us more dough on the charging infrastructure plans closer to launch.
