Программа GRAPHISOFT Bug Reporter предназначена для создания электронных отчетов об ошибках, сбоях и иных проявлениях неправильной работы продуктов GRAPHISOFT. Отправляя Отчеты об Ошибках, вы предоставляете GRAPHISOFT ценную информацию, существенно упрощающую исправление этих ошибок и улучшение работы приложений. Мы очень ценим эту помощь с вашей стороны!
Что именно делает Bug Reporter?
Bug Reporter запускается автоматически в случае сбоя приложения.
В результате открывается диалог, позволяющий выбрать отправку Подробного или Анонимного отчета.
В обоих случаях Bug Reporter собирает информацию о конфигурации вашего компьютера, операционной системе и установленных у вас приложениях GRAPHISOFT. Если вы выбираете создание Подробного отчета, то в него также включается описание проблемы, наименование компьютера, имя пользователя и данные о лицензии.

Отправка Детального Отчета
1. Введите в текстовое поле описание действий, которые вы совершили перед тем, как произошел сбой. Эта информация может очень пригодиться GRAPHISOFT.

Если вы хотите отслеживать статус обнаруженной вами ошибки, сообщите этот ID Службе Технической Поддержки.
Отправка Анонимного Отчета
Вы можете не отмечать маркер и просто нажать кнопку Отправки Отчета . В результате в Отчет об Ошибке будет включена лишь ограниченная информация о лицензии в соответствии с Уведомлением о Конфиденциальности. Отчет не будет содержать ни описания, ни каких-либо дополнительных данных.
Если компьютер не подключен к Интернету
Отчеты об Ошибках создаются даже если компьютер находится в автономном режиме. В этом случае вы можете сохранить отчет на компьютере, а затем самостоятельно отправить его в Службу Технической Поддержки.
Изменение Параметров создания Отчетов (выбор создания Подробных отчетов)
По умолчанию происходит создание Анонимных отчетов.
Однако вы можете выбрать создание Подробных отчетов.
Для этого сделайте двойной щелчок на приложении GSReport в папке установки ARCHICAD.

Graphisoft Bug Reporter is a program that creates an electronic report of a bug, error, crash or other incorrect functionality of a Graphisoft product. By sending in the Bug Report, you provide valuable information which helps Graphisoft fix problems and improve your experience. Thank you for your cooperation!
What Does Bug Reporter Do?
Bug Reporter starts automatically whenever your program crashes.
From the appearing dialog, choose to send either a Detailed or an Anonymous bug report.
In both types of reports, Bug Reporter gathers information about your hardware configuration, system software and Graphisoft applications you have installed on your computer. Unlike the Anonymous Report, the Detailed Report also includes your description of the problem, plus computer name, user name and license data.

Send Detailed Report
1. In the text field, describe what you were doing when the problem occurred. This detail is very useful for Graphisoft.
“I tried to Click-to-Trim a circular wall with a closed spline intersecting it at 4 points, when bogus lines appeared on the screen.”
2. Optionally, add your email address.
3. Check the box: “I agree to send a detailed report. ”.
– This authorizes Bug Reporter to gather additional system data as detailed in the Graphisoft Privacy Notice.
– Sending a detailed report also provides you with a Bug ID number, which you can use to follow up on the status of your crash report.
4. Click Send Report . If you are online, the report is sent to Graphisoft.
5. The feedback dialog displays the Bug ID.
If you wish to follow up on this bug with Technical Support, use this Bug ID to reference the issue.
Send Anonymous Report
You can leave the box unchecked, then click Send Report . This creates a Bug Report including limited system information, as detailed in the Privacy Notice. It does not include any additional data or description of the problem.
If You Are Offline
A Bug report is generated even if you are offline. In this case, you are prompted to save the report file to your computer, then send it manually to Technical Support.
Change Your Bug Report Preference (from Anonymous to Detailed)
By default, the Bug Report preference is “Anonymous.”
You can change this preference to “Detailed”.
To do this, double-click GSReport in the folder where ARCHICAD is installed.

What is GRAPHISOFT Bug Reporter?
- as GSReport.exe in the folder where ARCHICAD is installed,
- as GSReport.app
- for ARCHICAD 17 and earlier it is in the folder where ARCHICAD is installed,
- for ARCHICAD 18 and later it is inside the ARCHICAD.app in Content/MacOS folder (right-click on ARCHICAD.app file and choose Show Package Contents to access it).
Program functions
- ‘ Exit ‘ will close the application at any time, even during system checking. No report will be saved or sent to GRAPHISOFT.
- ‘ Send Now ‘ will connect to the Internet, and will submit your report to GRAPHISOFT.
- ‘ Edit ‘ will open the report for editing, enabling you to include further details with the report.
Sending the Report
When you click the ‘ Send now. ‘ button, GSReport will try and set up an Internet connection with a GRAPHISOFT server. If the connection is successful your report will be submitted and you will get a Bug Report ID. The Bug Report IDs are logged in a text file called CrashSubmissionLog.txt . This file is located at: C:Users
GRAPHISOFT (on Windows 8.1 and 10) or /Library/Logs (on Mac OS X 10.10 and later). The Bug ID is necessary to identify the bug in case you want to contact Technical Support for troubleshooting the problem. NOTE: In case your proxy server requires authentication you will be prompted to give your credentials. If the connection fails you will have the option to save your report file onto your computer and send it to your Local ARCHICAD Provider at a later time.
Editing the Report
If you click the ‘ Edit ‘ button, the Problem Description page will open. You can include here notes about the problem. It is a great help for Technical Support and Development team if you write a detailed description of the problem, e.g., «I tried to Click-to-Trim a circular wall with a closed spline intersecting it at 4 points when bogus lines appeared on the screen.» The description is optional.
- The ‘ Description ‘ tab shows the description you have just typed
- The ‘ System ‘ tab page shows information collected about your Operating system, drives and memory status
- The ‘ Configuration ‘ tab page shows information collected about your hardware components, drivers, and software environment
- The ‘ GRAPHISOFT ‘ tab page shows information collected about your installed GRAPHISOFT components
You can comment on any item by selecting it and writing your remarks in the ‘ Your remarks ‘ space at the bottom of the window, e.g., «It says I have 2048 MB of RAM but in fact, I only have 1024.» Although the Report does not include any personal information or information about third-party applications you have on your machine (excluding system software), you have full control over the information you send: You can disable any item or subtree by clicking on the lock to hide it. The full subtree of a locked item is hidden. You cannot lock items on the GRAPHISOFT tab since information listed here is necessary for processing the report. The ‘ Send Now. ‘ button will send the Report via Internet. The ‘ Send later ‘ button will prompt you to save the report on your drive. You can send the resulting .rep file later via e-mail.
What kind of information does the program gather?
System information
- Time and date: time of the configuration snapshot
- Operating system: version, system files, version of system files, settings
- Main system: your hardware configuration (CPU, keyboard, system devices)
- Drives: visible volumes (size and capabilities only, no content!)
- Memory status: your installed and free memory sizes
System configuration
- Current display device: video mode, video card, driver files
- Printers: driver, driver files, printer settings/capabilities
- Applications: what applications were running at the time of the snapshot
- Hidden/background processes: what other processes were running at the time of the snapshot
GRAPHISOFT settings
- ARCHICAD version and settings
- Files and file versions in the current ARCHICAD folder
Privacy
Bug Reporter does not collect any personal information or information about third-party programs you have installed on your computer. Additionally, you have the option to hide any data gathered by GRAPHISOFT Bug Reporter that you find confidential, thus preventing it from being sent to Technical Support.
What if an error occurs in GSReport itself?
If GSReport itself crashes, it creates a log called » GSReport.RPT «. This file is located at: C:Users
GRAPHISOFT (on Windows 8.1 and 10) or /Library/Logs (on Mac OS X 10.10 and later). Please send this file to your local Technical Support team. Graphisoft Community

It’s annoying enough that your expensive software keeps crashing at all — the subsequent bug report, asking you to waste even more time filling out bug reports feels a bit like a [moderated]. ��
I suggest that the bug reporter should be an opt-in feature controlled in Archicad settings. Until that time:
Easy way to disable the Archicad Bug Reporter app GSReport on MacOS is to
1. Go to your Applications folder > Graphisoft > Archicad
2. Right-click Archicad app and select «Show package contents»
3. Navigate to Content > MacOS
4. Rename the «GSReport» app here to «_GSReport»
Easy as that — you’ve just saved yourself unnecessary additional annoyance when your AC crashes. ����
