AUX установил.

День добрый.
Много читал и смотрел кто как делает aux. Не хотел видеть висячие шнуры и т.д. хотел сделать всё как в аптеке.
Поиски на али. дали свои результаты. Нашел шнур s.click.aliexpress.com/e/cW1md74W для фордов.

I just purchased a 2006 Ford Fusion SEL, which has the 6-CD changer. It also has an «AUX» button, but I can’t find out how to actually use it. I would like to be able to play my iPod through the stereo system without using some sort of radio adaptor. I’ve searched all over online and can’t find out where the input jack is for the AUX; even the manual doesn’t say anything about it. Is the AUX button there for no reason? If it actually works, how do I utilize it?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

fyi the aux button could is for one of three things, either satellite radio, or a aux jack that is actually in your center counsole mounted on the inside toward the front part, should be a silver dollar sized button type of thing with a silver dot in the middle, that is where you can plug in your i-pod, basically looks like a headphone jack, or like on all ford decks lately you can have a device hardwired to your radio, the leads are on the back of the deck, good luck

I have an 06 Fusion also. The aux input in the center console wasn’t a factory in put until late 06 (not sure?). Mine didn’t have one and I wanted to hardwire my Sirius instead of using the pitiful fm transmitter. If you do a search for «PIE FRD04-Aux» on the internet, you can find one for around $100.

FWIW The radio comes ready for Sirius, or in the case of the Freestyle or Tarus X, the rear DVD player. These will use the AUX button. If none of the above are present or a factory installed AUX input (or owner installed) pushing the AUX button does nothing.

I added the PIE FRD04 AUX input to the audiophile radio in my Freestyle. The only difference between doing it to the Freestyle and the Fusion is the center cover over the radio and HVAC controls, In the Freebie I was able to open the dash storage cubby and just grab the top of the panel to pull it out, I don’t know if the Fusion is exactly the same or not.

I ran the AUX jack up into the back of the dash compartment where I can mount my GPS and have the MP3 player and the directions play through the radio. My GPS is also Bluetooth compatable so the phone is hands free and I hear it through the radio also, sort of a poor man’s Sync

Someone posted a step by step with photos but I don’t remember if it was here or over on the Tarus/500 forum or on the Freestyle Forum but it is really not difficult. I think it took about 45 minutes or so. Once the panel is out of the way only 4 screws hold the radio in.

Aux Port

The ’06 Fusion didn’t come with the Aux Port. It became standard on the ’07. There are a few places where you could get a part that would attach to the back of the radio. I bought a part from a company on E-Bay called Integration Solutions that allowed me to hook up my Sirius Radio to the factory radio. I am very pleased with it. They also had many items listed for Aux Ports for MP3 players. They had quite a few items for the Fusion. One other place you could try is Crutchfield. They have been around forever and parts for just about every factory radio on the planet. Good luck and enjoy your car!
